Development Process Of Plastic Extruder

early application
The extruder originated in the 18th century. The manual piston extruder for manufacturing seamless lead pipes built by England's Joseh Bramah in 1795 is considered to be the world's first extruder. From then on, during the first half of the 19th century, extruders were basically used only in the production of lead pipes, the processing of macaroni and other foods, and the brick making and ceramic industries.
widely used
In the development process as a manufacturing method, the first clear record was R. Brooman applied for a patent in 1845 for the use of an extruder to produce Goodbo rubber wires. H. of Goodbo Company. Beverly subsequently improved the extruder and used it in 1851 to coat the copper wires of the first submarine cable between the Dover and Calais companies. Over the next 25 years, extrusion methods13 became increasingly important, and electrically operated extruders quickly replaced the previous manual extruders. The early mechanically operated plunger extruders produced thousands of kilometers of insulated wire and cable, firmly establishing the extrusion method for the production of electrical cables. The early extruders for producing cables, whether manual, mechanical or hydraulic, were all plunger-type. In this production process, the plunger presses hot gutta-percha into a die with copper wires, and the gutta-percha is extruded from the die, thus coating the copper wires to form an insulating layer.
