Plastic Extruder Heating And Cooling Device

Heating and cooling are necessary conditions for the plastic extrusion process to proceed.
⑴Extruders usually use electric heating, which is divided into resistance heating and induction heating. Heating sheets are installed in various parts of the fuselage, machine neck, and machine head. The heating device heats the plastic in the cylinder from the outside to reach the temperature required for process operations.
⑵The cooling device is set up to ensure that the plastic is within the temperature range required by the process. Specifically, it is to eliminate the excess heat generated by the shear friction of the screw rotation, so as to prevent the plastic from decomposing, scorching or setting difficulties due to excessive temperature. Barrel cooling is divided into two types: water cooling and air cooling. Generally, air cooling is more suitable for small and medium-sized extruders, while water cooling or a combination of the two forms of cooling is mostly used for large-scale extruders. Center water cooling is mainly used for screw cooling, with the purpose of increasing the solid material delivery rate. , to stabilize the glue output and improve product quality; but the cooling at the hopper is, first, to enhance the transportation of solid materials and prevent plastic particles from becoming sticky and blocking the material opening due to temperature rise, and second, to ensure the normal operation of the transmission part.
